At the weekend Bournemouth took on Newcastle at St.James’ Park. The Cherries were defeated 2-1 by the Magpies in a closely fought affair.

Harry Wilson opened the scoring in the game. A training ground routine saw Wilson peel off at the back post and dart to the centre of the box, the ball was fired into his feet and he finished with precision into the bottom corner.

Goals either side of half time from DeAndre Yedlin and Ciaran Clark put the home side ahead and they managed to see out the game despite some late scares.

Liverpool’s 22-year-old loan star has netted four times in nine starts for Eddie Howe’s South Coast side. This is an incredibly impressive tally given that the Welshman is playing off the right side of midfield. His most memorable goal of the season is undoubtedly an inch perfect freekick put past Manchester City.

Jürgen Klopp is desperate for strength in depth, particularly in his attack. At the minute Divock Origi is the only player covering all three of the Reds forward trio. Next season will surely see more reinforcements in the first team squad. Harry Wilson will be like a new signing for Liverpool when he returns from loan.

The Welsh winger will provide critical cover for Mo Salah on the right side of the Liverpool attack. He will also add a deadly option from set pieces, the young winger has gained a reputation for spectacular free kick goals.
