After a surprise Premier League title win during his first season in charge, Arne Slot’s second album at Liverpool has been an almighty flop.
The Reds had been favourites to be champions once again at the beginning of the campaign, but have contrived to lose 10 Premier League matches, dropping to fifth place in the process.
Understandably, fans have been far from impressed. As many call for Slot to be fired, Rousing The Kop asked readers on TalkingPoints to rate the Dutchman’s second term at Liverpool from A through to D, with unsurprising results.

Liverpool fans grade Slot with a D
With A* being ‘amazing’, A ‘great, B ‘okay’, C ‘average’ and D ‘poor,’ the majority of Liverpool fans who responded gave Slot the lowest possible score.
The responses ranged from “D but willing him to give him another go,” to “D he needs to be sacked,” and, though a couple were happy to grade Slot with a C, most commenters were very downbeat on the Reds’ head coach.
“If there was a Z I would go for that,” one said. “Reasons he has no clue what he is doing, never a plan B, bizarre substitutions, playing players out of position, thinks that putting more attackers on makes a difference when your defence was lacking in the beginning! The list goes on.”

“Sadly doesn’t seem to like attacking football league too slow,” said another.
“Arne needs to change his slow possession based football to high intensity press & speed attack,” someone else weighed in. “The low block only works if the build up is slow. Like ball over the top or along the ground & if it gets cleared, have a player run in & regain possession. Defenders hate being run at & will commit fouls outside & inside the box if dribbled past too!”
“Slow tactics which help the opponent set up low block pretty fast,” one more fan weighed in, with someone else declaring: “I give Slot a U. Bring back Klopp, get rid of Gakpo bring back Nunez to replace him.”
