Liverpool dominated Galatasaray to secure a meeting with PSG in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The majority of players were excellent in the 4-0 win at Anfield, with fans left overjoyed by how Arne Slot’s side played.
Now, Slot has suggested the performance we saw from his Liverpool players on Wednesday could mean the reigning champions will not be happy about taking on the Reds in the next round.

Arne Slot suggests PSG won’t like how Liverpool played against Galatasaray
Speaking live on TNT Sports shortly after the Galatasaray win, the Dutchman was quick to label PSG as ‘very impressive’.
The current Champions League holders knocked Liverpool out in the last-16 in 2024/25, coming out on top in a penalty shootout after two 1-0 games.
However, Slot also mentioned how his players were the only ones who took the Ligue 1 side to penalties last season.
He said: “Last season against PSG we were completely outplayed away from home, we played a great game at Anfield but lost on penalties.
“To be fair, they haven’t dropped their standards. It was hardly possible for them to improve but they’ve been very impressive until now.
“I don’t think they will be that happy to play for us after seeing our performance tonight, and last season we were the only team who took them to extra-time and penalties.”
Dominik Szoboszlai’s verdict on Liverpool facing PSG
One player who featured in both meetings between the two sides last season was Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Hungarian was also asked about taking on PSG when he spoke to Laura Woods and Steven Gerrard on TNT Sports in the aftermath of the Galatasaray game.
