Florian Wirtz and Dominik Szoboszlai are the only Liverpool players to feature in the new most valuable XI in the Premier League.
Wirtz has shone in recent months after a slow start following his £120m move from Bayer Leverkusen, while Szoboszlai has been described as ‘quality’ amid a stellar 2025/26 campaign that has seen him deployed in a variety of positions.
Now, the Hungarian has been named in Transfermarkt’s updated most valuable Premier League side in the right-back role.
DISCUSS: This is not the game for Rio Ngumoha, nor for the returning Florian Wirtz 👇

As expected, it is only made up of players from the top teams, specifically Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Dominik Szoboszlai enjoys market value increase as Alexander Isak declines
Szoboszlai has enjoyed a +€15m market value increase in the latest update from Transfermarkt.
That is the third-most of any player in the Premier League behind Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi (+€18m) and Wolverhampton Wanderers gem Mateus Mane (+€19.75m).
However, Alexander Isak has now endured the biggest decline in market value of any player in the English top flight.
His value has decreased by €20m in the new update, which is probably not that surprising considering the British record signing has not played a game since the back end of 2025 when he was injured against Tottenham Hotspur.
Interestingly, his striker rival, Hugo Ekitike, has been given a new market value of €90.00m, which is €5m higher than his last valuation in December 2025.
