Milos Kerkez has made a lot of progress at Liverpool since signing from Bournemouth, which has delighted Arne Slot.
The Hungarian arrived in a £40m deal and, like Florian Wirtz, had a slow start to life at Anfield.

According to the Daily Mail, Slot is delighted with how Kerkez has progressed in the 2025/26 season.
The Dutchman has been especially happy with the full-back’s improved fitness and his ability to start playing two games a week at Liverpool.
Kerkez has replaced Andy Robertson in the starting line-up for the most part, with the Scotsman now limited to the odd start here and there.
However, while Robertson was open to leaving Liverpool in January, there does not appear to be any issues between the duo when it comes to competition for places.
Instead, the report says that Kerkez has been leaning on the ex-Hull City man and does not see him as a rival.

Why is Milos Kerkez now playing better for Liverpool?
Kerkez was especially impressive in the 3-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend, producing a brilliant cross to set up Curtis Jones, while Stephen Warnock has called the defender ‘superb’.
The Liverpool left-back commented on his improved form earlier this season, suggesting the connection with Wirtz was helping.
He stated: “At the moment, there’s a good connection between me and Flo [Wirtz]. We’re playing well and I hope it keeps going.
“I like [the change in shape] because I have more freedom with Flo. We are moving, passing and playing a lot of one-twos. I felt like I was in the opposition box a lot more and crossing.”
Slot also spoke about why Kerkez has got better in an interview earlier this month. He said: “This is what you get [Kerkez improving] if you keep playing those players who maybe sometimes have moments that are not as good as other moments or games not as good as other games. I think that’s normal for younger players and the only thing as a manager is to keep trusting them and believing in them because we know who we signed.
“We saw that potential and we knew and, has already been shown, that that potential will be seen if you keep playing them.”
