The Reds do not get too many things wrong, but letting Diaz leave in the summer must be one of them given how well he has done in the Bundesliga while Liverpool have struggled.
Fans said Liverpool will regret selling Diaz when asked which player they should not have let go, showing that their feelings are pretty clear, or at least they were.

Diaz is only 28 so he really is in his footballing prime and still has plenty to contribute in his career, although he might have one eye on afterwards already.
He has recently released a music video as he looks to try his hand at a new hobby, but it appears as if Reds fans are not overly impressed and have taken a big U-turn on their opinion about letting him leave.
One fan wrote: “Got rid at the right time then…” while another added: “Lucho should just focus on his football.”
A third fan wrote: “All went to his head,” with a fourth adding: “Preparing himself for life after football already…”
Another highlighted the gap in quality between the Premier League and the Bundesliga, saying: “Bro has it so easy in Germany that he had this much time to produce music.”

A fifth simply put: “It’s a bit cringe, isn’t it,” with another saying: “I’m kind of glad he isn’t a Liverpool player now…”

Although most fans will be saying these things with tongue in cheek, some may genuinely mean it, with many just wanting players to focus on playing football.
There is no denying that most will still wish he was never sold, though, with his footballing ability clear for all to see, but at the end of the day, he did really want to leave.
So keeping a player around who did not really want to be there does not make much sense, and selling him for a profit after many years of service is always a genius move.
Whether it is football or music, he will be fairly successful at both, but now might be time for Reds fans to move on, just like Diaz has done.
