Mohamed Salah’s comments have certainly caused a storm, and all eyes were on him as Liverpool held an open training session not long after his interview.
Saturday evening 3-3 draw with Leeds has certainly been overshadowed by events that happened after the game, with Salah stealing the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
His comments about manager Arne Slot took the world by storm, with nobody quite expecting him to be as brutal as he was.
What do you think needs to happen to sort the Mohamed Salah situation out? 😳
Just over a day later, Liverpool had a training session in front of the media, with everyone wondering whether he would take part.
In the end, he was a part of the team to train, but journalist Mark Ogden spotted what he was doing as he walked out.
Mohamed Salah didn’t make a dramatic entrance when training for the first time
Everyone knows by now that Salah certainly enjoys being the main man and to have all eyes on him, but that is what has made him such a great player.
However, he pushed his ego to one side ahead of their training session and was spotted just trying to be as normal as he could be, playing down the situation to try and take the heat off the club.

“Yes, obviously we were told to get there for 11.45 for the start of training,” Ogden told the ESPN FC Podcast.
“They didn’t have to come out until 12.01, so it was quite a bit of a wait, building up the anticipation, I guess. But when he did come out, it was all very normal.
“He came out with Hugo Ekitike, there was no sense of him walking at the back of the pack. He didn’t have a kind of dramatic entrance late and he didn’t make a big scene.
“He walked out with Ekitike, joined in, Dominik Szoboszlai gave him a bit of a playful hug and they just got down to training, did a couple of drills with Szoboszlai and then went into a more small sided preparation game.”
Mohamed Salah can make all of this go away
How far will Liverpool go in the Champions League this season? 👀
Salah clearly did the right thing that day for the benefit of the team, so Liverpool fans will be hoping that he has learnt his lesson.
But now, what needs to happen next is for Salah himself to go to Slot and apologise, with the Dutchman hinting that after the Reds win against Inter Milan.
The ball is very much in the Egyptian’s court, with there still being a route back for him if he wants it badly enough.
Liverpool’s next training session will certainly be a big one, with all the eyes expected to be on Salah again, so it will be interesting to see how he reacts this time around.
