It has been just over a day since Mohamed Salah called out his manager Arne Slot.
Things have been a little intense at Liverpool since their draw against Leeds, with Salah’s interview after the game sending everyone into meltdown.
The Egyptian vented his anger following the match, saying that he feels he is being mistreated by Slot and “thrown under the bus.”
Fill in the blank: Mohamed Salah will be playing for ____________ on February 3rd
What happens next with him is still unknown, although Liverpool are undergoing an open training session on Monday afternoon, with many wondering whether Salah will take part.
Now, an answer can be given, and it will be the one that Reds fans will want to hear.
Mohamed Salah took part in Liverpool training
Salah was spotted at the AXA training centre on Sunday, with many believing that he was having a talking-to ahead of Liverpool’s game against Inter Milan.
Although his punishment has not yet been decided, the fact he has taken part in their open training ahead of the game is a promising sign, or at least that is what it looked like.
Liverpool Echo journalist Theo Squires captured the moment he came out onto the training pitch, with the photos online showing him to be his usual happy and smiley self.
The Reds are set to travel to Milan later on Monday, with Slot needing to decide whether to take Salah with him or not.
If he does not, it will be a very big statement indeed, with The Athletic reporting that he is expected to be omitted from the travelling squad despite training, showing that Slot is not messing around.
Four Liverpool stars missing from training
Although Salah being a part of training is partly good news, there is still some bad news as three Liverpool stars are absent from the session.
This will be just the FIFTH meeting between Liverpool and Inter Milan in Champions League history!

Cody Gakpo, Wataru Endo, Federico Chiesa and Jeremie Frimpong are all absent, although the latter was largely expected, suggesting Slot has some new issues to deal with.
Chiesa in particular will be a blow as he could have been the one to replace Salah should he not travel, as well as the Italian looking like he was over any issues.
Slot will speak to the press on Monday evening in his press conference so more information will be available then.
