Mohamed Salah’s outburst has left his future very much up in the air.
Liverpool drew with Leeds on Saturday night, and despite an underwhelming performance that saw them bottle a two-goal lead, this was overshadowed by events after the match.
Salah, who was an unused substitute again, called out Arne Slot after the game for the way he has been treated, with this a huge moment in the future of the club.
Who do you think should go, Salah or Slot?
The Egyptian made it sound very much like it is ‘him or me’, suggesting that he will look to be sold in January should Slot remain in charge.
There is one big sign that fans should look out for in January, though, that would indicate exactly what is about to happen, with the coming week set to be pivotal in Liverpool’s future.
Liverpool making a move to sign Antoine Semenyo would suggest Mohamed Salah is leaving
There has been a lot of talk about Salah’s future in recent weeks due to the winger playing less and less, but now, rumours have increased tenfold.

Despite signing a two-year deal in the summer, a January transfer seems more and more likely by the week, especially if Slot remains in charge.
Fans will have to wait and see if this happens, though, but one telling sign would be how aggressive Liverpool are in their pursuit of Antoine Semenyo.
The Bournemouth winger has been the subject of interest from the Reds for a while now, with his £65m release clause only available in January.
Not only would Liverpool have to move swiftly to beat competition, but also so that Bournemouth have time to find a replacement, suggesting a move could be done as early as January 1st.
If this is the case, or the rumours are getting more intense around this time, it would only suggest that Salah is leaving and Semenyo is his replacement.
Who is the bigger Liverpool legend, Salah or Gerrard?
Antoine Semenyo might not be the ideal replacement for Mohamed Salah
Last season, Semenyo was on fire and this is why he was one of the most in-demand wingers in the league.
He started this season off the same as well, but in recent weeks, he has struggled to reach the levels he was previously hitting.
He has not registered a goal or an assist since the start of October, meaning he has gone seven games without a goal involvement.
This suggests that consistency might be starting to become an issue, something Liverpool cannot afford to take a gamble on and suggesting that he cannot be the heir to Salah’s throne.
