Florian Wirtz had a very quiet game for Liverpool against Leeds.
The Reds’ poor start to the season continued as they bottled a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Leeds, with Wirtz a player who went missing while on the pitch.
After an excellent performance against West Ham, he was a little quiet against Sunderland, and then even quieter against Leeds, with the German failing to make any sort of impact.

He has certainly not had the start to life at Liverpool that he would have wanted, with the 22-year-old not getting the goals and assists he thought he might.
Gary Neville thinks he knows why, though, with the former Man United player saying it was clear during his performance at Elland Road why he is struggling.
Florian Wirtz needs better positional awareness
Working hard is the bare minimum for any footballer in a game, but especially when playing for Liverpool during the period they are currently in.
Wirtz certainly does just that, with the German covering a lot of ground during the time he spends on the pitch.
Neville, however, thinks he might be working too hard, believing that if he slowed down a little bit, he would be more impactful in the final third.
“Look where he’s receiving the ball there and where he’s moving. There are only a few touches there in areas where you’d want to see him on the ball,” he said on Sky Sports.
“I think he moves around far too much I think he has to play closer to Ekitike and be more subtle in his game and his positioning.
“There’s a reason he’s not scoring goals and there’s a reason he’s not having touches in the box, he’s not there, be there where it matters.”
