Liverpool’s new collaboration with Adidas was just one of the reasons supporters were so excited for the 2025/26 campaign.

The German supplier has partnered up with the Reds for the first time since 2012, and released three delightful kits to a great reception from fans.

Sadly, performances on the pitch have so far failed to match the quality of the shirts, with Liverpool‘s newest Adidas offerings seemingly destined to be associated with a terrible campaign.

Despite that, fans have still been gobbling up the shirts, accessories and merchandise as they celebrate the return of their favourite supplier.

And as some prepare to add the home, away or third kit to their Christmas lists, Liverpool fans have been treated to a new lifestyle collection from Adidas which has sent them into a frenzy.

Those with keen eyes will have noticed Liverpool players arriving at Anfield in some new gear ahead of Wednesday’s draw against Sunderland.

As it turned out, this was simply a teaser for the official release, with Adidas unveiling a collection of black and gold outfits which already has fans purring.

“I wish your performances were good as that kit,” said one fan. “This would have been cool if we were good at football,” added another.

“Black and gold LFC stuff,” someone else said, adding a raft of heart-eyes emojis, while another simply offered: “Take all my money.”

“One of the best kit/jersey launches ever coinciding with such an awful season so far is a bit of a tragedy,” another supporter echoed.

“Adidas really did good this year. Banger after banger,” said one more with others continuing to lament the current state of Liverpool in contrast to the quality of their gear.

Liverpool can spend £100m in January if FSG are willing, who do you want to see signed? 💰

“Ultimately, if they want to spend £100m, there is nothing
stopping them. Whether they will or not is entirely down to the owners. They
have a £350m revolving credit facility – which you can basically liken to an
overdraft – that they can use if cash flow is tight. And if a blue-chip
centre-back is going to be the difference between qualifying for the Champions
League or not, it makes sense to pay a bit of a January premium and get a deal
done.”

“The football is absolutely dead but these are fire,” was one fans’ view, with another concluding: “We are wasting all timer merch.”

The verdict of one supporter who claimed: “If you sack Slot I’ll buy some,” felt like an apt way to sum up the current mood amongst the fanbase.

How expensive is Adidas’ new Liverpool collection?

There are four items in the new Adidas lifestyle range for Liverpool: a tracksuit top, bottoms, a short-sleeve polo shirt and a sweatshirt.

Strangely, the sweatshirt comes in at the cheapest item, but will still set you back a whopping £80.

The tracksuit bottoms are marginally more expensive, coming in at £90, while the polo shirt is an incredible £100.

The zip-up tracksuit top is the highest priced item and will cost supporters a budget-busting £110.

While the range is clearly impressive, and black and gold always feels like a good choice with Liverpool, this is once again a sign of supporters being exploited by sky-high prices.
