Liverpool ended a run of nine defeats in 12 matches across all competitions with a 2-0 victory over West Ham.
Arne Slot’s future became a huge talking point amid a historically bad run of form not seen since 1953/54.
But after a rare Premier League win, Liverpool’s top-four chances have increased, and they are now nine points adrift of league leaders Arsenal.
Are you still Arne Slot out? If so, why?
Next up is a tricky meeting with an in-form Sunderland, who have already taken points off Chelsea and Arsenal this season.
Ahead of the tie, John Terry has predicted what is going to happen at Anfield now that they have finally secured a win.
John Terry makes optimistic Liverpool prediction
Speaking on his official TikTok account, Terry stated that a big weight will be lifted off Alexander Isak after he scored on Sunday.
He went on to back Liverpool to continue improving in the coming weeks.
Terry said: “Isak scored his first goal for Liverpool, which I’m sure will take the weight of the world off his shoulders, and I think we will see a resurgence at Liverpool over the coming weeks.”
After Sunderland, the Reds travel away from home to take on a struggling Leeds United before meeting Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield.
Can you name the missing players from Liverpool’s last match against Sunderland in 2017?
All three matches are, on paper, pretty winnable, but a return to losing ways may spell bad news for Slot.

How do Liverpool feel about Arne Slot’s future
The West Ham win was much-needed, but it has not undone all the damage created at Liverpool already this season.
Finance expert Kieran Maguire has already revealed that it would cost between £10m-15m to sack Slot.
The Reds would recoup most of that sum if a new manager helped them climb three to four places in the Premier League, as each position gained is worth £3m.
For the time being, it looks as though Slot is staying, but his job is by no means safe after West Ham.
Indykaila News has suggested that the Dutchman’s job remains on the line and the next two games (Sunderland and Leeds) will be important.
