Last time Liverpool lost six out of seven Premier League games

Liverpool’s Premier League title chances seem all but over, especially if Arsenal beat Tottenham on Sunday.

The current champions have now suffered a staggering six defeats in their last seven league games.

They last endured such a poor run between February and March 2021 when Klopp was at the helm.

Liverpool finished that season in third place with 69 points to their name.

Prior to that run of games, you have to go all the way back to the 1953/54 campaign to find the last time Liverpool suffered a similarly bad run of league defeats.

They lost nine matches in a run of 11 at one point before being relegated from the old Division 1.

Is Arne Slot under pressure at Liverpool

Slot’s future at Liverpool has been questioned already in 2025/26, but the message at the time was that the board were backing their manager.

However, it’s hard to see him lasting much longer if this form continues.

After a Champions League meeting with PSV, Liverpool face West Ham United next weekend, a game you would now say is a must-win.

They then have a couple more winnable ties against Sunderland and Leeds United before taking on Brighton.

Lose all of those matches, and it may be curtains for the 47-year-old.
