Arne Slot may be starting to feel the pressure a little.
This time last season, the Reds were flying without any worries in the world, with every fan in awe of just how seamless the managerial transition between Jurgen Klopp and Slot was.
Fast forward to now, though, and the Dutchman has come under heavy fire, with Liverpool losing four of their last five Premier League games.
The more worrying thing is that performances just have not looked convincing one bit, with the team selection something that has been questioned more often than not.
There is one star in particular who has seen minutes very hard to come by, and fans are starting to question his treatment, especially as he was hyped up to have a breakout season.

Liverpool fans left unsure about Rio Ngumoha’s treatment
Over the summer, Rio Ngumoha set Liverpool’s pre-season alight, with his ‘frightening’ performances catching the eye of everyone, not just Reds fans.
He also followed it up with a last-minute winner against Newcastle in the league, but since then, his chances have been few and far between.
This has confused many fans, especially as Liverpool refused to sign a winger as they thought Ngumoha was ready to step up, with this a topic that has divided the fanbase online.
One fan wrote: “He was the reason we didn’t go and buy another left winger. So why is he not given a chance?” while a second put: “Bro is so talented, I don’t know why he’s not been integrated into the squad.”
A third fan added: “I wouldn’t mind him coming on towards the end for Salah since Salah hasn’t really been in form lately.”

A fourth believes that it is solely on Slot, writing: “Because Slot does not know how to pick his team…”
However, some fans have defended the Dutchman, saying: “You need to be careful with players like that, can ruin their body before they’ve even started.”
Another agreed, saying: “He is too small for the premier league right now, our biggest problem is getting physically dominated,” although a seventh fan disagrees, writing: “Slot’s treatment has been appalling.”
A final fan went for a more considered approach with their answer, and believes that the games have not been right for him so far, saying: “He’s not ready. He could be getting minutes at the end of games if we ever put teams away by 60 mins mark.”
Rio Ngumoha looks like he could head out on loan
Players of Ngumoha’s age usually never get a taste of first-team football, with many going out on loan first to develop their skills.
However, the 17-year-old is that talented that Liverpool wanted to keep him around to help his progression, but now they might be starting to hinder it.
With rumours linking the Reds with a new left winger in January, this will only block Ngumoha’s path even more, suggesting it might be good for him to go out on loan.
Where that would be is hard to suggest as the obvious choice seems to be the Championship, although that might be far too brutal for him given his age and type of player he is.
Either way, everyone has seen his talent and would like to see more of him, but right now, it does not look like he is going to get that chance based on the way things are going.
