Vinicius Jr’s actions hinted that he is not happy at Real Madrid.
The Reds have not been linked with anyone huge ahead of the January or summer transfer windows, with a player like Vinicius Jr probably not even crossing their mind.
However, during El Clasico at the weekend, Xabi Alonso decided to take off the Brazilian and replace him with Rodrygo, a substitution that he was not happy about one bit.
This has led to speculation online suggesting that he could depart in the summer, with Liverpool probably one of very few European clubs who would even be able to afford him.
This is by no means saying they will even make an attempt, but if they tried an audacious swap for whatever reason, Reds fans have certainly already made their feelings very clear.
Liverpool fans do not want Vinicius Jr
Love him or hate him, ‘Vini Jr’ is a sensational footballer, although he does play like he very much knows it.
To get him away from the Spanish capital, it would certainly take a lot of money, but Liverpool supporters really do not think he is worth it.
One fan wrote when asked if they would take him at Liverpool: “Are u serious!? Nooooo!” while another added: “We don’t need a crying baby in the dressing room, thank you.”
A third fan is not entirely convinced by him, although they failed to rule it out, saying: “Not sure I like how he goes on to be honest, not sure. Never say never but not sure that would be good for the dressing room to be honest.”

Another admitted that he is a brilliant footballer, but does not think he suits Liverpool, writing: “He always cooks when he plays against us but I think he’d be better suited at City or Arsenal than Liverpool.”
A fifth fan added: “We can’t rely on someone who can’t control their emotions on the pitch,” with a sixth adding: “No way. He causes a lot of problems for his own team.”
A seventh wrote: “Talent but lazy and prone to sulking… Where’ve we heard that before…” with a final supporter saying: “We’ve already got 9 players who don’t run and track back.”
Liverpool fans want Antoine Semenyo
During the discussion online, it is also very clear to see which player Liverpool fans want instead, with this being Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.
The Ghanaian has set the league alight this season, carrying on from last campaign, showing that it was not simply a ‘one-off’.
Liverpool have already been linked with Semenyo and the release clause in his contract might be tempting, especially as he has proven himself in the Premier League.
Richard Hughes is also a big fan too, suggesting that he would be a much better fit than Vinicius Jr should Liverpool ever join the race for him.
