“For the Anfield duo, it isn’t just about adapting to a new league, new system or new price tag,” he wrote.

“It’s all of that while being at Liverpool, where the scrutiny is amplified. Many United players could tell them that you simply won’t get the space you might need.

“You can already see it in how Isak is being described within the game as “a mistake”, despite not yet being fully fit.”
