Liverpool fans are not ready to forgive Trent Alexander-Arnold for leaving just yet.
The Reds have had a tricky start to the season and three losses on the bounce has left many fans feeling mixed emotions.
Some are a little concerned, while others are just very angry, with the team clearly not performing to the levels they were last season.
One reason for this could be due to Liverpool losing Trent Alexander-Arnold, with the Reds really missing his creativity from right-back.
However, this is still a very touchy subject for many and this has only been proven further by what the club have just done for their former player, with it safe to say that supporters are far from pleased.

When Alexander-Arnold left, there was complete uproar among the fanbase, with the majority not understanding why he would want to leave his boyhood club.
Liverpool themselves were clearly annoyed too as he did not get much of a send off online, with the club posting the bare minimum and moving on rather swiftly.
However, they have just posted a happy birthday message on their social media accounts as he turns 27, a simple message that has sent fans into meltdown.
One fan on X wrote: “New admin? That other admin wouldn’t post Trent, even during celebrations of the league!”
A second added: “Delete this now!” with a third writing: “Lads we’ve just lost 3 on the bounce, could you not?”

A fourth echoed this point, saying: “This tweet is worse than those three straight defeats which we suffered last week,” with a fifth agreeing by saying: “Kick us when we’re down Admin…”
Another referenced how it was strange given the club’s radio silence when he left, writing: “More recognition for his birthday than him leaving,” with a seventh having a very simple message by saying: “Read the room.”
A final fan made their feelings very clear, saying: “Why are we wishing a traitor happy birthday?”
Liverpool really miss Trent Alexander-Arnold
One perhaps telling sign that Liverpool fans really miss their former right-back more than they will admit is due to this reaction alone.
On the pitch, his absence is felt, with the Reds struggling to create the same amount of clear-cut chances, while still not knowing their best option in this position.
Mohamed Salah clearly misses Alexander-Arnold too as he appears to be struggling without the Englishman’s presence behind him, indicating that he was a lot more vital to the team than many think.
With the Reds taking on Real Madrid at Anfield in less than a month’s time, Alexander-Arnold is set for a big homecoming, although based on this reaction alone, he can expect the welcome to be far from warm.
