Liverpool supporters have been spoiled across what has been a wonderful transfer deadline day weekend.
The Reds beat Arsenal on Sunday to deliver a monumental early blow in the Premier League transfer race.
Late on Sunday night, news then emerged that Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Alexander Isak, with the striker set to undergo a medical on Monday.
As if that were not enough, Rousing The Kop have also exclusively revealed that Liverpool are growing in confidence of signing Marc Guehi.
Along with the excitement of the incomings, though, there has been some disappointment on deadline day. It comes in the shape of a loan with obligation to buy for Harvey Elliott to Aston Villa.
Elliott looks set to join Villa for just £35m, which feels low for a player of his quality and experience. And as they digest the news on Monday, Liverpool fans have decided there may be a blockbuster reason for the meagre fee.

Liverpool fans put forward Morgan Rogers theory
While Liverpool fans have expected that Elliott would depart, the fee has certainly disappointed a few.
But judging by the reaction of supporters on social media site X, they think it may all be part of a grand plan to swoop in and sign Morgan Rogers from Villa.

“Morgan Rogers and Harvey Elliott swap deal? Hmmm,” said one fan, with another adding: “This Morgan Rogers to Liverpool bomba is going to be crazy.”
“Signing Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott seems very much like Aston Villa are covering for Morgan Rogers. If not an exit today, could January be on the cards for the youngster?” posed one more supporter.
“Harvey Elliott going too cheap there, must be keeping them sweet for Morgan Rogers?” someone else said, while one simply questioned: “Morgan Rogers in the next 12 months??”
“I like Harvey. He obviously won’t be playing as much as he would like or even close to,” said another supporter. “Would say £45-50 is what I would value him at but maybe I am biased. Morgan Rogers next season for us?”
“Didn’t even see obligation for Harvey Elliott deal, that’s terrible business,” said one fan, before adding pointedly. “Unless it’s for a reason…”
“Seems low that,” another commented. “Wonder if we’ve done a deal with Villa for Morgan Rogers in January or next summer.”
Are Liverpool interested in Morgan Rogers?
Certainly, there would have been hope at Liverpool that they would be banking much more than £35m when it came to selling Elliott.
However, it feels unlikely at this stage that the 22-year-old is being played as a pawn in some kind of wider plot.
Instead, the fee is perhaps a result of Arne Slot barely giving Elliott any meaningful minutes throughout the whole of last season.
In terms of Rogers, it would not be a surprise if Liverpool were in for him at some stage in the future, and being as thorough as they are, maybe this would have crossed the minds of Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards.
But if a move is to come, it is highly unlikely to arrive before Monday’s 7pm deadline.
