Alexander Isak has been Liverpool’s number one target since the summer transfer window opened in June.
The attacker is one of the best strikers in the Premier League, and with players such as Mohamed Salah and Florian Wirtz around him, he’d likely become even better.
The Reds have already had their first offer of £110million rebuffed by Newcastle, but now that Isak has refused to play for the Magpies ever again, a move could be edging closer.

Although the news that Isak wouldn’t be playing for Newcastle again has only just been shared, another update has now emerged in the saga.
Alexander Isak has put his house in Newcastle back on the market
Earlier in the summer, Isak’s house was put onto Rightmove, with the listing swiftly being taken off after fans caught wind of what was happening.
Since then, a bid has been made for the striker by Liverpool, and it seems like Isak has decided that his future belongs to the Reds, rather than at St James’ Park.
And now, as per a report from The Times journalist Martin Hardy, the striker has actually moved out of his house.
The report outlines that although the house was taken off the market upon his return to Newcastle, it’s now ‘back on the market’ with another rental company.
Liverpool must make another bid for Alexander Isak this summer
Ever since Liverpool’s £110million bid was instantly rebuffed by Newcastle, the Reds haven’t made another move for the towering Swede.
Reports have recently suggested that a fee worth around £150million would be required to prise Isak away from St James’ Park this summer, and although Liverpool likely have that much to spend, they need more than just one new addition.
One of the other main areas they need to improve is their centre-backs, with only Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate available to Slot at the moment.

With this in mind, it’s evident that some money will need to be left spare so that the Reds can improve their defensive ranks.
Of course, only time will tell whether Newcastle and Liverpool will be able to agree on a deal, but if they do, it’ll be one of Liverpool’s most impressive coups of the window.
