Liverpool sold Luis Diaz in a deal worth £65.5m at the end of July.
The Reds have received plenty of praise this summer for the number of quality players they have added to their ranks, but they also deserve credit for the money they have made from sales.
They have made over £130m from selling some of their stars, with a good chunk of this coming from Diaz when he completed his move to Bayern Munich.
The Colombian wanted out of Anfield for a little while but made his feelings very apparent over the last month or so, with many left confused as to why he would want to leave as Liverpool prepare for an exciting new chapter.
However, at 28, almost doubling your money on a player who also gave his all during his time at the club is simply sensational business, and Reds fans have not been left surprised over the winger excelling on his debut for the Bundesliga champions.

Liverpool fans not surprised about Luis Diaz’s Bayern Munich debut
‘Lucho’ may have only departed on the 30th July, but the Colombian has already made his debut for his new club, doing so in a 2-1 win against French side Lyon.
Diaz came on at half-time and impressed the fans inside the Allianz Arena, with the winger winning a penalty for his new club just eight minutes into his debut.
Bayern supporters may have been a little surprised at how good he actually was, but Liverpool fans were not at all and they know that they will miss him next season.
One fan put: “Knew he would; he is quality,” when hearing that he played well, with another writing: “Gonna be a massive loss for us. We need a replacement.”
A third supporter added: “He’s gonna shine there,” while another put: “Good players don’t need time to blend into a good team, he’ll do massively well at Bayern.”
A fifth Liverpool fan put: “He was always going to do well wherever he went,” while another simply added: “That’s what he does.”
A seventh wrote: “Just watched the highlights. He gave a good impression on this one. I have no doubt he’s going to do well for Bayern,” while another summarised his time at Anfield by writing: “He’s so, so good at winning pens. I’ll miss him.”
Harry Kane was also impressed with Luis Diaz’s debut
One thing that Diaz might find it hard to do at the beginning is to communicate with his new teammates as not too many of them speak Spanish.
However, he is capable of speaking a little bit of English, meaning one player he can communicate with is striker Harry Kane, and the former Spurs man was left rather impressed by Diaz’s debut.
“He did a great job today. We’ve only had a couple of training sessions together so far, but he seems hungry and lively,” he told journalist Kerry Hau for Sky Sports Germany.
“You can tell he’s happy to be here. He’s playing with a smile on his face. Today you could see how effective he is in the final third, and we’ll need him this season – so I’m excited he’s here.”
There is no doubting Diaz’s quality and he will, of course, be a huge loss for Liverpool, but if anyone can cope, it is Arne Slot’s men.
