Liverpool have had yet another busy day in the 2025-26 summer transfer window.

Arne Slot’s men have already welcomed a couple of new faces to Anfield, with the Reds looking to bolster their ranks as much as possible.

Of all the Premier League’s teams, it feels like the Merseyside outfit have been the team dominating headlines, with many fans and pundits even hailing them for the work they’ve done this summer.

Harvey Elliott now accepts that he may have to leave Liverpool this summer

Since the 2024-25 season ended, Harvey Elliott has found himself in some impressive form for England’s Under-21s at the World Cup.

The attacking midfielder was the sole reason why the Three Lions emerged victorious from their game against the Netherlands on Wednesday evening as he managed to bag both of their goals.

This performance sparked a reaction from Joe Cole, who claims he could go to the “very top.”

David Lynch also shared an update on his future with Elliott, now being more ‘accepting’ that the best thing for him to do at the moment would be to move on from Liverpool and prove his worth elsewhere.

Wataru Endo has chosen to stay at Liverpool

Another player who was rumoured to want to leave Liverpool this season was Wataru Endo.

The Japan international had minimal playing time last season due to the impressive form that Ryan Gravenberch found himself in across the campaign.

Many expected Endo to want to leave and play out his prime years as a regular first-teamer but instead, he’s chosen to stay and fight for his place.

That is, according to a report from journalist David Lynch, who said that he “did not expect” the midfielder to stay on for another year whatsoever.

After what feels like a lifetime of negotiations, Liverpool have finally confirmed the transfer of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.

The defender has joined the club on a five-year deal with the fee rumoured to be worth around £40million.

Links with the full-back have been around since the end of May and have really picked up over the last couple of weeks.

The Hungary international will no doubt be looking to hit the ground running and will want to stake his claim for the starting spot in Slot’s team.

One player who has been linked with a Liverpool move for the past couple of years is Anthony Gordon.

The former Evertonian has been in the eyes of the Anfield outfit ever since he was playing just down the road at Goodison Park.

The rumours haven’t been as rife in the 2025-26 summer transfer window, but that hasn’t stopped some outlets from reporting Liverpool’s interest.

However, while speaking on the Ranks FC Podcast, journalist Dean Jones admitted that he’d be “very surprised” if Liverpool went for Gordon this summer, especially after the arrival of Florian Wirtz.
