Having secured two big signings already, and standing on the edge of a third, it has been a busy summer for Liverpool so far.
With the arrivals lounge at Anfield getting plenty of action, the focus seems likely to fall on sales over the coming weeks.
Jarell Quansah is all set to leave for Bayer Leverkusen after Liverpool agreed a fee of £30m plus £5m in add-ons on Sunday.
But Quansah‘s exit was not the only transfer story in the news on Sunday. Here’s a round-up of some of the other rumours which caught our attention.
Key week for Darwin Nunez to Napoli

Liverpool have reason to be happy with the sale of Quansah. The fee represents pure profit on a player who cost them nothing coming through the academy.
Nevertheless, they will be hoping for even more when they eventually manage to get Darwin Nunez off the books.
Nunez has been linked with Napoli and according to an update from journalist Fabrizio Romano on Sunday, the coming days are set to be key in this particular deal.
Nunez has been named as a ‘dream target’ for Napoli and Romano reports that contacts between the Italian champions and Liverpool’s No. 9 are likely to intensify next week.
Liverpool insert buy-back option on Jarell Quansah
The transfer of Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen has been handled very quickly following Liverpool’s capture of Florian Wirtz from the Germans on Friday.
And as the deal took a big step towards being completed on Sunday, a key detail emerged from the agreement between the clubs.
Once again, Romano is the source, with the journalist claiming that Liverpool have inserted a buy-back option on Quansah.
Although details are patchy for now, Liverpool will reportedly retain the right to buy the centre-back from Leverkusen in the future.
Marc Guehi determined not to sign new contract

With Quansah ready to leave in the coming days, Liverpool’s search for a replacement is likely to intensify.
Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi has been named as a potential option for the Reds and as his contract enters its final year, the England international has reportedly made a decision.
According to The Guardian, Guehi will not sign a new Crystal Palace contract and could leave for free in 2026.
As Liverpool weigh up their options following Quansah’s exit, it is claimed that the Reds may hold out and sign the 24-year-old on a free transfer next season.
In other news, Bayern Munich have reportedly backed away from Cody Gakpo, while sporting director Deco publicly hinted that Luis Diaz is still a target for Barcelona. Exits are the name of the game right now, but further sales should bring even more incomings.
