Milos Kerkez has been linked with Liverpool ever since he emerged as one of Bournemouth’s most important players.
Indeed, the Anfield outfit do have Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas to cover at left-back, but judging by the way things have gone this season for the duo, it’s time for a change.
There’s no denying that Robertson has been one of the Reds’ best left-backs of all time, but his form has somewhat dropped throughout the 2024-25 season.

So, in reality, it’s not all that much of a surprise to see Kerkez being linked with an Anfield switch.
Danny Murphy believes Milos Kerkez’s passing range could make him a perfect match for Liverpool
As mentioned, Kerkez has ended up being one of Andoni Iraola’s most important players this season.
The left-back has helped solidify the Cherries’ back four and has even earned them a few points thanks to the number of assists he’s made.
Speaking on talkSPORT’s Inside Liverpool Podcast, Danny Murphy shared why he thinks Kerkez could be an ideal fit.
“Kerkez is an all-rounder, I’ve watched him live probably three or four times, I think you get a bit more when you watch someone,” he said.
“He actually likes one-on-one defending, he doesn’t mind it, he’s got a bit about him.
“[He] loves bombing, [he’s] fit, he’s a flying machine, but his crossing, he whips it into great areas, [he’s] really confident with his delivery.”
Milos Kerkez is exactly what Liverpool need to remain competitive
One of Liverpool’s priority positions to improve next season was their left-back.
It was one of the main areas within the Reds’ ranks that looked weak when facing opponents, and a young player with plenty of potential, such as Kerkez, is an ideal match for the Anfield outfit.
Granted, with the interest being shown in Tsimikas from teams such as Atletico Madrid and Juventus, it’s likely that the Greek scouser will be on his way out this summer.

This does, however, mean that Robertson will likely see out his contract with Liverpool and will be able to mentor the Hungary international upon his arrival.
At the end of the day, this is arguably the best possible outcome for all the involved parties and for a fee of just £45million, on paper, Kerkez looks set to be a steal.
