According to Il Mattino, Chiesa is willing to take a pay cut to leave Liverpool for good this summer, with Napoli one of the clubs interested in signing the former Serie A superstar should an agreement be reached with the Reds.
Tottenham are also interested in signing Chiesa as many top sides from Europe are already beginning to line up for a chance of signing the Italian international, where Liverpool could end up making a decent amount from the winger leaving.
Indeed, Liverpool secured Chiesa’s signature last summer at a bargain price, and even after just a handful of appearances for the Reds, there’s a real chance that the Premier League champions could sell the 27-year-old at a profit.
And if this happens to be the case, many Liverpool fans will be fine with Chiesa leaving the club after just one year, especially with this summer shaping up to be a massive one for the Merseyside giants heading into the new season.
