Trent Alexander-Arnold is in the final seven days of his Liverpool career with the season set to end next Sunday.
The Liverpool defender announced earlier in the month that he will be leaving Anfield this summer with Alexander-Arnold expected to sign for Real Madrid, with the defender set to join the Spanish giants before the FIFA Club World Cup next month.
With Liverpool close to signing Jeremie Frimpong having already tied Conor Bradley to a new contract, the Reds have moved quick to replace the England international, who was booed last week during Sunday’s draw with Arsenal.
And Liverpool fans have again been left angered by Alexander-Arnold after what happened this week at the club’s training ground.

Trent Alexander-Arnold slammed by Liverpool fans for leaving party
As per Anything Liverpool on Twitter, footage has emerged of Alexander-Arnold’s leaving party at Melwood, with a ‘Summer of 66’ themed event taking place amongst staff members and players to see off the defender.
Given the amount of effort that seemingly went into the party, Liverpool fans on social media have been left fuming by the videos that have emerged from the get-together, with Alexander-Arnold’s reputation as a modern-day great diminishing by the day.
One Liverpool fan wrote: “He deliberately sat through two transfer windows because Madrid told him he could only join on a free but it’s the Liverpool supporters who are being disrespectful? And the club are throwing him a party? This isn’t my club anymore.”
Another Red supporter posted: “This is so embarrassing it’s unreal. The club & the board is known for building for the future and sustainability but now everyone who gets an offer from Spain thinks ‘Yeah I can leave no problem they the fans will boo me for few minutes but the club will give me a ‘leaving party.'”
Whilst another fan said: “This is pathetic and embarrassing from everyone involved. No wonder the players feel shocked about Trent getting booed by the fans when this is how they feel about the situation. Might as well give a party to Coutihno for going Barca and Torres for Chelsea then.”
Trent Alexander-Arnold boos now likely for Brighton & Hove Albion
With two games left to go before leaving Liverpool, things were already looking bad for Alexander-Arnold’s reputation even before this week’s party at Melwood, which has left a large number of fans angry with the England international.
And heading into Monday’s away trip to Brighton & Hove Albion, Alexander-Arnold could expect a frosty reception from the away support based on the reception the defender has received for his leaving party on Merseyside.
Indeed, Alexander-Arnold’s legacy at Liverpool is slipping away from the right-back with each passing week, and the majority of the fanbase seem to be ready for the academy graduate to pack his bags and head to Madrid already.
