Liverpool have almost one full month to celebrate after becoming Premier League champions on Sunday.
The Reds became one of the quickest teams ever to complete the job in the division’s 33-year history, securing the title with four games left to play.
In doing so, Liverpool drew level with Manchester United on 20 top division English league titles, having trailed their arch rivals since 2011.
But two Premier League wins in six seasons have put the Reds back at the top, and they look well placed to edge ahead next season.
With United sitting in 14th place in the Premier League table, it looks a long way back for Ruben Amorim and his beleaguered Reds Devils.
But as Liverpool begin to assert their dominance on the pitch, it looks like a golden period could be coming off it on Merseyside as well.

Liverpool set for rare financial win over Man United
For many Liverpool fans, success on the pitch is all they care about. The rest will then take care of itself.
However, it’s fair to say that although they don’t often get everything right, the Liverpool owners have ensured that fans have a club to be proud of away from the field of play as well.
And that has been underlined in a new report from The Athletic, who have detailed just how rude Liverpool’s financial health now is as a result of the Premier League win.
They claim that the Reds are set for a ‘bumper year’ of financial windfalls, with around £176m expected to be banked off the back of lifting the title.
With United struggling, Liverpool’s turnover is reportedly projected to exceed Man United’s for only the second time in the Premier League’s 33-year era.
The only other time Liverpool won this particular metric was in the 2021/22 season. With United said to have been £200m ahead of Liverpool as recently as 2016/17, the Reds have closed the gap and moved ahead incredibly quickly.
Liverpool set to move into top five
As well as getting the run on United, Liverpool are also set to move ahead financially in terms of a global scale.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 34 | 25 | 7 | 2 | 80 | 32 | 48 | 82 |
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 14 | 34 | 10 | 9 | 15 | 39 | 47 | -8 | 39 |
The Reds were ranked eighth in the most recent Deloitte Money League, which assesses the world’s richest clubs.
The Athletic claim that when the report is launched for this season, Liverpool are likely to have jumped into the top five.
This is as a result of what is described as a ‘boom era’ for the Reds, with on-pitch success and frugal FSG practices having created a perfect storm for financial health.
Winning with the team is obviously where it really counts, but with United always claiming the lead in terms of commercial and global appeal over the last three decades, it’s nice to see Liverpool finally sticking it to them there as well.
