Liverpool beat Leicester City 1-0 on Sunday to move one step closer to winning the Premier League title.
The Reds knew they needed two more wins to guarantee their status as champions, but looked to be heading towards a 0-0 draw at the King Power Stadium.
However, Trent Alexander-Arnold had other ideas. The Scouser has been attracting headlines for months as he stands on the verge of leaving Liverpool on a free transfer.
But although some supporters have been disappointed with Alexander-Arnold, he showed why Real Madrid are so desperate to sign him by popping up with a terrific late winner.
After the game, it was a surprise to see Trent stand up in front of the Sky Sports cameras for a post-match interview.
The right-back has been dodging the press all season long, but spoke at length for the first time in a while, including answering questions on his future. And having listened to his answers, Jamie Carragher gave his verdict on what he’d heard.

After slamming in the winning goal, it was virtually impossible for Alexander-Arnold to avoid speaking to the cameras after the game.
The 26-year-old has looked happier over the past week or so, though, and it was nice to see him give his thoughts post-game.
Alexander-Arnold praised the Liverpool fans but stopped a long way short of committing his future to the club. And after hearing what he’d had to say, Carragher was asked if he was any closer to knowing what the outcome would be.
“Not really,” he answered. “But I felt more on edge during that interview then during the game!”
“He hasn’t really spoken all season. It’s that time of the season he’s got to be speaking to the club one way or another, whether the decision has been made.
“I think most people feel that decision has been made, so it is difficult for him to give an honest answer.”
Alexander-Arnold is clearly leaving
This was a nice moment for Alexander-Arnold and he certainly celebrated it with gusto, but make no mistake: he will not be at Liverpool next season.
If he is staying, the academy graduate had a huge chance to show some indication of that here.
Instead, he dealt more riddles to the Liverpool fans, along with some suggestions of making memories and special meoments.
Nobody quite seems to want to come out and say it, but in our opinion, Sunday’s game and everything that followed is the clearest indication yet that Alexander-Arnold is going.
That is fine, of course, he can do as he pleases. But don’t expect Liverpool fans to like it.
