West Ham United are weighing up a move for Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton in the final days of the January transfer window, Rousing The Kop understands.
Morton has made just five appearances under Arne Slot this season and started Wednesday’s Champions League tie with PSV Eindhoven from the bench.
And RTK can exclusively reveal that having failed to break into the Liverpool team on a regular basis, Morton is now considering a move away.
West Ham are known admirers of Morton and the Hammers are understood to be considering an approach to Liverpool before Monday’s deadline.
West Ham weighing up Tyler Morton approach
Morton has had to bide his time for opportunities at Anfield this season.
Having embarked on two successful loan moves over recent campaigns, the Liverpool academy graduate has been forced to get used to a bit-part role under Slot.
However, despite his lack of game time, RTK understands that Morton is highly-rated by new West Ham boss Graham Potter.
For their part, Liverpool are understood to be open to letting the England U21 international go.

At this juncture, RTK have been informed that no decision has been taken on whether West Ham will pursue either a loan or permanent transfer.
All deals must be concluded before the 11pm deadline on Monday February 3rd.
How did we get here?
Morton has been highly rated at Liverpool for the best part of three years.
The 22-year-old has also caught the eye in the Championship, with former Hull City boss Liam Rosenior hailing Morton as an ‘outstanding’ talent during his time with the Tigers.
Morton was almost sold last summer as Liverpool weighed up whether to keep him around the first-team.
But having ultimately stayed on, the midfielder has found chances in the team hard to come by.
After only five appearances – mainly across domestic cup competitions – Morton admitted he was weighing up his future earlier in the January window.
