Liverpool failed to secure all three points against Manchester United in what was an entertaining draw on Merseyside.
The Reds came from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 heading into the final ten minutes of the clash, yet Liverpool were unable to hold on as Amad Diallo managed to secure a point for United with a late equalising goal.
Although Mohamed Salah looked happy for Liverpool in their 2-2 draw, with Reds know that they missed out on a major opportunity to build from their already impressive lead in the Premier League table with Arsenal and Chelsea drawing this weekend.
And Jim Beglin has now said Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo made one Manchester United defender look like a complete fool.

Beglin impressed by Gakpo leaving Matthijs de Ligt on the ground
Speaking on the Premier League’s official commentary of the match, the former Liverpool defender lauded Gakpo after the Dutch international completely embarrassed Matthijs de Ligt as the winger found the back of the net for the Reds.
Gakpo had already won praise earlier in the game from Jamie Carragher with the former PSV Eindhoven star once again enjoying a fantastic attacking performance down the left-wing, further strengthening his claim as the main starter in the position.
And the attacker’s goal was something quite special, with Gakpo leaving De Ligt in the dust and finishing emphatically past Andre Onana, who could do nothing about the attacker’s incredible strike from the near post.
Beglin said: “This is absolutely brilliant. Manchester United think they’ve cleared their lines but he’s made a clever little run to get in behind. He leaves De Ligt on his backside and finishes with aplomb.”

Gakpo is finally starting to hit his stride at Liverpool
Gakpo has had a solid two years at Liverpool, yet the forward’s performances in recent weeks have really caught the eye of supporters, with Arne Slot once again unblocking the true qualities of one of his players left behind by Jurgen Klopp.
On course for his best goalscoring tally yet as a Liverpool player, Gakpo has never looked more comfortable leading the line for the Reds, with the winger well-suited to Slot’s attacking tactics and what the Dutchman wants from his forwards.
And the former PSV star’s performance against United was one to treasure, with Gakpo making the Red Devil’s big £45m summer signing in De Ligt look ordinary with an emphatic fashion at the right moment.
