Mohamed Salah’s name has dominated the headlines this season thanks to his exploits on and off the pitch for Liverpool.
His stunning form has spearheaded the Reds to the top of the Premier League standings as they find themselves nine points above Arsenal and 11 clear of reigning champions Manchester City.
The Egyptian’s contract situation has led to his name dominating the back pages, with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.
Salah reiterated his desire to remain at Liverpool earlier this season but is no closer to agreeing a new deal.
And if reports are to be believed, he is beginning to grow disgruntled with the situation as his contract continues to wind down.
Mohamed Salah ‘frustrated’ with Liverpool over contract talks

After the 2-0 win against Man City, Salah referred to Anfield as his home as he played a hand in both goals Liverpool scored on the night to secure three points.
The Egyptian will be free to agree a pre-contract with potential suitors from January, making the situation all the more difficult from Liverpool’s point of view.
According to The Athletic, Salah would even accept a one-year extension at Anfield but is growing frustrated with the pace of the talks.
Liverpool, on the other hand, maintain that they are in positive talks with his agent and confidant Ramy Abbas, although they are yet to come to a mutual agreement.
The report also states that there is no truth in rumours linking Salah with a move to Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain, pouring cold water over claims that he could be off to the Parc des Princes on a free transfer.
Who can replace Salah at Liverpool?
Liverpool simply can’t afford to lose Salah – more so on a free transfer – and will look to reach a middle ground with the Egyptian in the coming weeks.
If they somehow fail to do so and he departs at the end of the season, they have already been linked with a couple of attackers.
Liverpool are keeping tabs on Omar Marmoush, who currently plies his trade with Eintracht Frankfurt, while Lyon’s Rayan Cherki also has keen admirers at Anfield.
