Liverpool made it four wins from four in the UEFA Champions League with a 3-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen.
The Reds came alive in the second-half to score three goals without reply against Xabi Alonso’s side, with Luis Diaz stealing the show for Liverpool with three excellent goals as Curtis Jones pulled the strings in midfield.
With the result putting Liverpool top of the Champions League league phase, Anfield supporters will be pleased with what they saw from Arne Slot’s side in what was yet another statement win from the Dutch manager.
And Luis Garcia was left impressed by one Leverkusen star despite the 4-0 scoreline.

Liverpool-linked Jeremie Frimpong impressed for Leverkusen
Speaking on Amazon Prime’s coverage of the game, the former Liverpool attacker was full of praise for Jeremie Frimpong’s performance for Leverkusen, with the fullback causing some real problems down the right-wing.
Frimpong has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks with the £34m-rated fullback viewed as a potential replacement for Real Madrid target Trent Alexander-Arnold, who could leave Anfield next summer.
And Frimpong more than impressed in what could be his audition for Liverpool, with Garcia impressed with the defender’s movement as the Netherlands international made Kostas Tsimikas look ordinary after scoring a disallowed goal in the first-half.
Garcia said when asked about Frimpong’s disallowed goal: “You can’t put that pressure on when there’s a player free and looking at your goal, but that movement from Frimpong is fantastic as he cuts from outside to inside. Luckily for Tsimikas there is a handball, but it’s great movement from Frimpong.”

Frimpong showed why Liverpool should move for him next year
Leverkusen might have been bested by Liverpool on the night, yet the Bundesliga champions put on an impressive performance to show the rest of Europe that they mean business in the Champions League.
And Frimpong was one of the standout players at Anfield for the German side, with the former Celtic defender giving Liverpool plenty of problems with his driving runs down the right with blistering pace.
Indeed, Liverpool look like the will need a replacement for Alexander-Arnold next year, and Frimpong could be the dream signing for the Reds if the Leverkusen star is keen on returning to England.
