Caoimhin Kelleher has taken his chance with hands this season as he continues to deputise for Alisson Becker between the sticks for Liverpool.
The Irishman has achieved cult status at Anfield for his displays and has shown that he is more than capable of holding his own on the grandest stage.
Kelleher continues to grow in stature and has lavished praise on a member of Liverpool’s backroom staff for his role in his development this season.
Caoimhin Kelleher praises Liverpool’s head of first-team goalkeeping Fabian Otte

Fabian Otte joined Liverpool earlier this summer to replace John Achterberg, who left the club to reunite with Steven Gerrard at Al-Ittifaq.
A lot of things changed behind the scenes for the Reds and the arrival of a new goalkeeping coach was another step in that direction.
At the start of the season, Kelleher praised Otte for his fresh ideas, describing him as a ‘really interesting’ coach.
And now, the Irish goalkeeper has sang his praises once again at a press conference ahead of the UEFA Champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen.
“He’s been really good, loving working with him,” said Kelleher.
“He puts a lot of work into improving us individually, he’s a great guy who is really into his details. He is really good.”
Kelleher’s stats this season
Steve McManaman praised Kelleher for his outstanding performance against RB Leipzig in Liverpool’s previous Champions League game as the young goalkeeper made a string of saves to give the Reds a 1-0 win.
He has kept just two clean sheets this season but his saves have proved to be invaluable for Liverpool as they find themselves at the top of the Premier League table.
Kelleher remained coy about his Liverpool future, but with Alisson still at the club and Giorgi Mamardashvili set to arrive next summer, the Reds could reluctantly part ways with him at the end of the season if the right offer comes along.
