Liverpool moved back to the top of the Premier League table after they overcame Brighton 2-1 at Anfield.
Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah scored second-half goals after Ferdi Kadioglu netted for the Seagulls in the first-half.
Liverpool are now two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, with Slot having loved the Anfield atmosphere in his side’s latest win.
Fabian Hurzeler also hailed the Anfield atmosphere, with his side having thrown away their lead after an impressive first-half display on the road.
At the same time, however, the hosts were nowhere near their best in the opening 45 minutes, with their second-half display winning them the game.

Joe Hart shares ‘really interesting’ Virgil van Dijk verdict
Slot turned to Luis Diaz and Curtis Jones in the 66th minute to help raise the overall performance and indeed intensity, and they certainly did that.
Just three minutes later, Gakpo netted the equaliser, with Salah’s match-winning strike coming just three minutes after that.
The huge pressure from Liverpool before their equaliser was noticed by Joe Hart, who said on BBC Match of the Day: “Now here we are in the 70th minute. Brighton have spent most of the game fairly comfortable and on the front foot.

“But Liverpool’s pressure and intensity is starting to show. Diaz in control of the ball, and I think what was really interesting was the positions of [Joe] Gomez and [Virgil] van Dijk.
“Van Dijk is Liverpool’s last line of defence here, 45 yards from goal. [Georginio] Rutter, Brighton’s furthest man forward, 35 yards from goals. Liverpool are really starting to put the pressure on.
“Kadioglu, who looked so sharp in the first-half, a half-hearted attempt to stop Gakpo coming in, and with quality like that the ball can end up in the back of the net.”
Liverpool fans help Arne Slot to important win vs Brighton
Van Dijk led by example when the Reds needed to take serious action, with the Liverpool captain having been deep inside the Brighton half for large parts of the second half.
Moreover, it was the centre-back who clinched the assist for the opening goal, feeding the ball to Gakpo, whose cross evaded everyone and found the back of the net.
Brighton did their utmost to quickly go ahead once more, but this time the hosts broke superbly, with substitute Jones grabbing the assist for Salah.

Slot certainly stayed calm and composed despite the worrying situation at one stage, with such control epitomising his time at the club so far.
But the Anfield faithful also deserve huge credit for the win, with the Liverpool supporters having driven their players to the fantastic victory and an important three points.
