Liverpool secured a 2-1 comeback win against Brighton & Hove Albion as they put the Seagulls to the sword for the second time this week.
After their 3-2 win in the Carabao Cup at the Amex Stadium, the Reds put on a show in the second half at Anfield as Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo scored to give Liverpool all three points.
Ferdi Kadioglu broke the deadlock with a sensational finish to silence the home crowd, but the Anfield faithful were in full voice in the second half as the Reds grew into the game.
And Arne Slot felt the home supporters played a big part in Liverpool’s comeback victory.
Arne Slot says Anfield was the ‘loudest’ today since he joined Liverpool

Brighton dominated the first half and it looked like another home defeat in the Premier League could be on the cards for Liverpool, having previously suffered a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
However, that wasn’t to be as they produced a fantastic showing after the interval and turned things around.
Slot felt the home crowd were ‘incredible’ and helped Liverpool get over the line in what was a tough game against a well-coached side.
“Our fans were incredible in the second half. Incredible,” said Slot at a press conference after the game.”
“The players were as well, but the fans, that was the loudest since I got here. Let’s go now for Tuesday where I think we need them to make sure we start like this because that definitely has an effect on our players and in turn, our results.”
Fabian Hurzeler admitted after the game that his Brighton players were ‘attracted’ by the Anfield atmosphere, which is another indication that the home crowd were in full voice today.
What next for Liverpool?
With Manchester City and Arsenal losing, the Reds lead the way in the Premier League with 25 points from ten games.

Before the next international break, Liverpool welcome Bayer Leverkusen at Anfield and also play hosts to Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Slot’s side have already laid down the marker but can make a massive statement if they manage to secure two wins in the upcoming run.
