Liverpool are flying high under Arne Slot, with the Dutchman having made a stunning start to life in England.
Slot has the backing of Rafa Benitez, with the former having guided Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table.
The Anfield club have won seven of their eight matches under Slot, with their only defeat coming at home to Nottingham Forest.
That shock loss will have really worried the Anfield faithful, but the Reds have been in scintillating form under Slot since then.
Liverpool also occupy top spot in the Champions League table, level with Aston Villa on nine points after beating RB Leipzig 1-0.

Paul Merson has changed his mind about Arne Slot and Liverpool
Premier League action is up next for the Reds, who travel to Arsenal on Sunday, with the Gunners sitting third in the table.
The entire situation at Anfield has really impressed Paul Merson, who said on Sky Sports Premier League: “Well they had a nice start to the season, they did have a nice start.
“The fixtures were kind at the start, but you’ve got to win them. But I watched them against Forest after the international break, they got beat at home 1-0, and I was like ‘nah, they’ve got no chance, they look quite boring’.

“But then when you look at it, I’ve got that horribly wrong. It was an international break, it’s hard when you’re a big club to bring all your international players back.
“They’ve been amazing. Big game last week against Chelsea, they went on and won, and then they go to Leipzig and win. Road their luck, but they still won. He’s [Slot] done an amazing job, absolutely amazing.
“He’s come in, he hasn’t changed much, there wasn’t much to change, if anything, and he’s just sat in that dugout, got them a little bit calmer instead of that real hectic football, which was great and entertaining for the neutral. But yeah, he’s done nothing wrong, he’s been outstanding so far.”
Chris Sutton says Liverpool are definitely in a title race
Liverpool are a point ahead of Man City thanks to their strong start, with Arsenal and Aston Villa four points behind the league leaders.
Chris Sutton has no doubt Liverpool are in a title race, but Slot and his players will not be thinking that far ahead at this moment in time.
Plenty of twists and turns can be expected between now and the end of the season, especially with the club’s aims of progressing in other competitions.

A superb start has been made in Europe, with Liverpool aiming to make the next step in the League Cup when they take on Brighton next week.
But their opponents across all competitions will have grand plans to send the Merseyside club crashing back down to earth.
After the very difficult trips to Arsenal and Brighton, the Reds then host the Seagulls and Bayer Leverkusen in the Premier League and Champions League respectively.
