Things have been going very well on the pitch at Liverpool so far this season.
There had been a certain mysteriousness over how the Reds would fare in the new campaign having begun life under a new head coach.
So far, though, Arne Slot has done a supreme job of making Liverpool supporters forget about a certain Jurgen Klopp.
Of course, fans will never truly put Klopp out of their minds and nor would they want to. The German will forever remain one of the most important figures in Liverpool history.
And while that love and appreciation clearly goes both ways, Jurgen has obviously been doing his own thing since leaving Anfield.
Klopp has faced criticism for joining Red Bull group as their Global Head of Soccer. But as the 57-year-old prepares to move on to his next position, it’s clear that he still very much has Liverpool’s best interests at heart.

Jurgen Klopp sends LeBron James message
From a Liverpool point of view it is a shame that Klopp does not start his new gig at Red Bull sooner.
Had he been in situ already, it’s likely that he would have been present to watch his old club take on RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
Perhaps Klopp will be there anyway, though. Liverpool supporters will certainly be hoping so.
In the meantime, Jurgen is still a Red through and through. And ahead of minority Liverpool owner LeBron James getting another season of NBA action underway on Tuesday, Klopp sent an LFC related message to the basketball superstar on Instagram.

Liverpool occasionally interact with James, who is part of ownership group FSG and also holds a small individual stake in the club.
And as the 39-year-old prepared to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in LA for the Lakers, Klopp kept this relationship alive by requesting James to ‘help LFC’ to take a picture with the NBA trophy by winning it in April.
“LFC helped you to have this beautiful photo,” wrote the legendary boss, sharing a photo of James clutching the Champions League trophy.
“What if you help LFC to have one with the NBA trophy next year? Best of luck this season.”
Did the Lakers win?
Many Liverpool supporters will have little interest in following basketball. Nevertheless, James is a global superstar and it is always nice to see such figures associated with the club.
However, it remains to be seen whether the iconic athlete will respond to Klopp or be able to deliver on the boss’ request.
Things got off to a good start for James and the LA Lakers on Tuesday, though. They were run close by the Timberwolves but managed to sneak a 110-103 win at the Crypto.com Arena.
Given the time difference between Germany and LA, we’re not sure Jurgen will have been watching.
But if things continue in a good way for James, maybe we’ll see Klopp – or possibly Slot – lifting the NBA trophy next year!
