Liverpool sit top of the Premier League table seven games into the season, with the Reds looking incredible under Arne Slot.
Despite one historic loss to Nottingham Forest, Liverpool have been head and shoulders the best team in the division this season, with the Reds winning six games from seven and conceding just two goals, by fat the fewest in the league.
With Mohamed Salah also at his usual world-class best with Slot getting a tune out of Luis Diaz, Liverpool’s attack has also been fantastic, with the Reds showing a new side of their game under Slot that we did not see during the Jurgen Klopp era.
And Darren Bent has now named two Liverpool players in his Premier League Team of the Season so far.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ryan Gravenberch named in Team of the Season so far
Speaking on TalkSport, the pundit named Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ryan Gravenberch in his Team of the Season so far, with Bent impressed with what he’s seen from the Liverpool duo this campaign.
Alexander-Arnold has returned to his best in the right-back position with the Liverpool defender putting the problems of last summer at Euro 2024 well behind him, with the fullback playing out of his skin for the Reds.

As for Gravenberch, the Dutch midfielder has been the revelation of the season for Liverpool, with the midfielder forming a great double pivot with Alexis Mac Allister in the no. 6 role and helping the Reds massively after a mixed first season under Klopp after joining from Bayern Munich.
Bent said on the two: “Right-back I have gone Trent. He has been brilliant. Holding I have gone Gravenberch. He has been unbelievable for Liverpool. Where has that come from? Gravenberch, honestly, has been next level. He has been next level.”

Alexander-Arnold and Gravenberch have been instrumental for Liverpool
Alexander-Arnold and Gravenberch both came into this season knowing they had points to prove at Liverpool for different reasons, and the duo have managed that and then some under Slot.
Gravenberch, especially, has emerged as the defensive midfielder of Liverpool’s dreams, with Troy Deeney recently noting that the Dutch international is making fans forget about the failed summer move for Martin Zubimendi.
As for Alexander-Arnold, the defender is once again back on top of the world as the best right-back in the game, with the 25-year-old looking unstoppable in Slot’s system and looking like a guaranteed addition in the Team of the Season come the end of the campaign.
