Mohamed Salah is one of the best attackers in world football, with the Liverpool winger at his best on Sunday against Manchester United.
The Egyptian international scored once and assisted another two in a 3-0 win against the Red Devils, with Salah already on three goals and three assists for the new Premier league season after just three games.
With the former AS Roma star’s contract expiring at the end of the season, though, a lot of speculation is running around on what Liverpool will do with the 32-year-old, with Arne Slot refusing to comment on Salah’s deal yesterday.
And Micah Richards has now shared what he thinks will happen with Salah.

Salah tipped to stay at Liverpool and sign new contract
Speaking on the Rest is Football, the former Manchester City defender made the bold claim that Salah will stay with Liverpool and pen a new contract with the Anfield side, even with interest from Saudi Arabia heating up.
Given how good Salah has started this season, there’s every chance that the attacker could make a U-turn if Liverpool end up winning major honours this season, and Richards believes the Anfield icon could end up staying.

Richards said when asked what he thinks will happen to Salah’s future: “I think he is going to stay. I think there was an opportunity for him to go last year, I think Saudi are rumoured to take him. Obviously, Mane went out to Saudi. I just think what’s the point in selling him?
“He’s in the best shape of his life, ripped, he still works hard, he still changes games. I think he will sign a new deal. I think he will sign another two years. I don’t think Liverpool could let him go for a free, especially with the shape he’s in.”

Salah need to do all they can to keep Salah
Salah is showing no sign of slowing down as one of the best wingers in the world, and for Liverpool, they are aware that they need to do all they can to keep hold of Salah for a few more seasons.
Whilst a move to Saudi Arabia would be financially tempting for Salah, the attacker knows deep down that he is simply too good to be leaving for the Middle East just yet in his career.
And for Liverpool, they have to pull out all the stops to keep hold of Salah and to tie the Egyptian down to a new contract, with the winger too good to be allowed to leave at the end of this season.
