Liverpool are basking in the glory of a one hundred per cent start to life under Arne Slot.
Slot has now taken charge of two games for the Reds in the Premier League, winning both 2-0.
Given that the matches were against Ipswich and Brentford, it should not be a big surprise that Liverpool have taken six points out of six.
Nevertheless, after taking on the mammoth job of replacing Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s new head coach has a right to feel pleased with himself.
With two games worth of evidence to judge how the Reds will do under Slot, the verdicts on the Dutchman have been pouring in. The latest comes from former Liverpool striker Michael Owen.

Michael Owen delivers Arne Slot verdict
It is still a little strange not to see Klopp over on the touchline for Liverpool. That was especially true on Sunday as Slot took charge at Anfield for the first time.
However, over time, the sight of the 45-year-old and his coaching staff sitting where Jurgen and Pep Lijnders did for so many years will become completely normal.
To some, that will still hurt more than a little. Klopp became so ingrained in the club and in Liverpool’s history that saying goodbye to him was incredibly painful.
For others, they will been much more keen to look forward rather than back. Owen is clearly one who falls into this latter category.

Speaking to premierleague.com after Liverpool’s win over Brentford on Sunday, the pundit admitted that Slot’s calm and assured nature had already made him forget all about his predecessor at Anfield.
“I’ve been really impressed with Slot,” says Owen. “He looks assured.
“Two comfortable wins, two clean sheets. I’ve stopped thinking about it [Klopp leaving] already. I’m calm about it. This guy knows what he’s doing.”
Thomas Frank details Arne Slot difference
As far as replacing a huge figure like Klopp goes, Slot could hardly have done it any better so far.
It hasn’t just been the two wins, or the excellent pre-season, what has perhaps been even more impressive is the way Slot has carried himself.
As Owen says, the former Feyenoord boss has been calm, focused and even a little ruthless. He has come across brilliantly so far.
It’s on the pitch where games are won, though, and according to Brentford boss Thomas Frank, Slot is also helping Liverpool to move on from Klopp where it really counts.
Speaking after losing to the Reds on Sunday, Frank noted the differences between Slot and Klopp’s approach.
It may only be two games so far, but Arne has impressed just about everyone.
