Liverpool have arguably the best-attacking options in the Premier League, with Arne Slot holding command of quite the array of forwards.
Mohamed Salah remains one of the best wingers in world football with the likes of Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz sensational options who can mix and match across the entire front-three, with Darwin Nunez a lethal attacker on his day.
Although the days of Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are over, Liverpool fans have few complaints over their attacking options, with Gary Neville recently hailing the Egyptian as ‘world-class’.
Yet pundit Clinton Morrison has suggested that Liverpool have an attacker who is more important than Salah.

Diogo Jota hailed as Liverpool’s best finisher over Salah
Speaking on Sky Sports, the former Republic of Ireland international made the claim that Jota is actually Liverpool’s best finisher, with the Portuguese forward scoring on Saturday against Ipswich Town, as well as Salah.
With Tony Cascarino making a similar point between Jota and Salah, it’s clear that the former Wolves star’s performance against Ipswich has left a mark on pundits, with Morrison now joining the hype train on the attacker.

Indeed, Jota has proven himself to be a reliable goalscorer for Liverpool since joining, and the forward will be key for Slot in the Dutchman’s quest to win silverware in his first year in charge of the Anfield side.
Morrison said: “They have to keep Jota fit. Obviously we talk about Salah and Diaz, they are fantastic players, but Jota is the best finisher at that football club. The fitness with him is a big question, but if they keep him fit, they have got a great chance (of winning the Premier League title).”

Jota will be huge for the Reds in succeeding this season
Jota has been one of Liverpool’s most consistent players when available, with the Portuguese forward coming up clutch on multiple occasions for the Reds since arriving from Wolves.
And this season could see Jota play a massive role for Liverpool in their quest to add to their trophy cabinet, with the Premier League also on the agenda despite the lack of new signings.
Although many Liverpool fans would agree that Salah is the better forward than Jota, the striker is as important as the Egyptian, and this season could prove to be a big one for the 27-year-old.
