Fabio Carvalho has spoken out after completing a £27million transfer from Liverpool to Premier League rivals Brentford.
Liverpool could pocket millions from Carvalho, who joined the Merseyside club from Fulham for £5million in 2022.
Arne Slot didn’t want to sell Carvalho, with the attacker having hugely impressed under the boss in pre-season.
The 21-year-old scored against both Arsenal and Manchester United in the successful pre-season tour of the USA.
But Liverpool have now moved the youngster on, with Carvalho returning to West London on a five-year deal.

The 21-year-old follows club-record signing Igor Thiago in the door this summer, with the striker having joined from Club Bruges for £30million.
Both Carvalho and Thiago will have their sights set on plenty of goals this season, with the former now revealing his plans for the first league match against Crystal Palace.
“I had a decent pre-season, played a few games, scored a few goals, which is what it’s about,” said Carvalho.
“For me, I know myself and I play better when I’m playing consistently and that’s what it’s all about. As a footballer, you’re going to be able to gain confidence from playing regularly – and I’m already looking to score on Sunday!”
