With the pair set to reunite in the Premier League, it’s clear that Minteh is a huge fan of Slot and the impact the Liverpool manager had during his season in Rotterdam, with the attacker developing quite a lot under the former Feyenoord coach.

Indeed, Minteh has more than deserved his big-money move to Brighton this summer after a season where the 20-year-old bagged 11 goals and six assists in all competitions for Feyenoord last term.

And given how emotional the winger was with saying goodbye to Slot, it’s obvious that the Liverpool manager played a key role in Minteh’s development, with the attacker now a better player after spending a year under the Dutchman.
