Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah was tasked with discussing which Liverpool player would win the Olympic 100 metre sprint.
Phil Thompson says Salah looks transformed under Arne Slot, with the attacker set to be a key player under the new manager.
He has already been shining under Slot, with Curtis Jones praising Salah following the pre-season win over Manchester United.
Worryingly, however, his Liverpool contract expires next summer, with Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the same situation.
But for the time being, all three are now back at Anfield for pre-season duty, with the new season rapidly approaching.

As per the official Premier League website, the Hungary midfielder hit a speed of 36.76 km/h against Wolves.

The figure is just behind Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven, who became the fastest player in the competition’s history when he clocked 37.38 km/h against Brentford.
Salah has also demonstrated his superb speed over the years, but the Egyptian thinks fellow attacker Nunez has what it takes to outpace the entire squad.
Gakpo meanwhile, who shone for the Netherlands at Euro 2024, is clearly confident of his own pace over a relatively short distance.
