Liverpool fans are waiting patiently for the moment their summer transfer window kicks into gear.
The Reds are usually relatively active during the early parts of the market, but with so many mitigating factors, this year has been different.
Clearly, settling Arne Slot in and allowing him to get a good look at his first-team squad and the academy have been the priority.
The summer international tournaments have also made it necessary to wait for certain targets. Liverpool are having to sit tight.
With both the Euros and the Copa America now at an end, though, the players involved are starting to make their moves.

Liverpool set to miss out on Bento Krepski
Another reason that Slot has not made a signing for the Reds yet is because the Liverpool squad is actually pretty well stocked.
There have been recent claims that Liverpool are looking to make three signings this summer, but there is also no guarantee that they will do anything at all.
As ever, any potential outgoings will have a big bearing on any business Liverpool do complete. Not only will sales boost the transfer kitty, but they’ll also make room in a squad that is on the large side.
One position where this is more pronounced than anywhere else is in the goalkeeping department.

Caoimhin Kelleher’s future at Liverpool is in doubt and if the Irishman leaves, the Reds will need a number two. As a result, Liverpool were linked with Bento Krepski, Alisson Becker’s current understudy with Brazil.
However, with Kelleher yet to go anywhere, there’s no need for the Reds to make a concrete move. And according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, this means that they have now missed out on Bento.
“Bento to Al Nassr, here we go!” Romano reports, late on Monday evening. “Agreement in place between clubs with Athl. Paranaense for fee around €18m [£14m].
“Bento will undergo medical and then sign long term deal at the club. He was on Al Ittihad shortlist under former president but now set to sign for Al Nassr.”
Good news for Liverpool and Alisson?
Bento has the look of being the future of Brazilian goalkeeping. Just 24, the Athletico Paranense goalie is primed to kick on.
It is obviously a shame then, to see him head to Saudi Arabian football at this juncture. He could have shone in Europe.
Nevertheless, his move to Al Nassr could end up being good news for Liverpool. Al Nassr were pushing hard to sign Alisson after offering the Reds No.1 a huge contract.
There’s no certainty that they won’t still come back for the 31-year-old, but it would now seem unlikely.
Bento is more than good enough to be first choice for Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane. He could have been a superb signing for Liverpool.
