Liverpool have seen a number of players come and go in recent windows and a midfielder the Reds paid £35m for is now on the radar of Sheffield United.
The Reds have been in period of transition in the last few windows, especially in midfield, and spent big money last summer to rebuild the squad.
Last summer’s window saw the arrivals of the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, and Ryan Gravenberch were all signed, while the likes of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were all moved on.
And according to a report from Turkey, Sheffield United are keen on one of those players.
Sheffield United want Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a year after leaving Liverpool
According to Turkish outlet Sabah, recently relegated Sheffield United are keen on signing Oxlade-Chamberlain after just a year in Turkey.
Oxlade-Chamberlain left Anfield last summer for nothing as Liverpool cut their losses on the midfielder who had cost £35m back in 2017.

The former England and Arsenal midfielder has had a torrid time with injuries in his career and never quite hit the heights many expected at Anfield.
‘The Ox’ did actually play 30 times for Besiktas last season but the midfielder is believed to be keen on a return to England, while Besiktas are also open to a sale.
With regards to Sheffield United, the Blades are currently in the midst of a potential takeover.
New signings like Oxlade-Chamberlain, then, could make sense if the new owners want to throw some money about at Bramall Lane.
Good to see Oxlade-Chamberlain back in England
We see a number of players move to Turkey from different clubs in England and it seems to be a 50/50 split on if they succeed or not.
Clearly, The Ox has done ok with Besiktas but there is obviously another reason behind a potential move back to England.
Whether Sheffield United is the right club for him, remains to be seen.
But if he is to come back to England, then a season in the Championship might not be the end of the world for the former Red.
