Liverpool are looking at a number of potential signings and could now make a move for one of Barcelona’s most promising young talents.
The Reds are expecting a busy old summer this year as the return of Michael Edwards brings a new strategy in the market with Jurgen Klopp gone.
Arne Slot is also now the man in charge, and he’ll also be keen on making a few new signings.

Over the weekend, a host of names including Douglas Luiz, Mohammed Kudus and once again, Crysencio Summerville, have all been mentioned as players of interest.
However, a new report from Spain now lists another name in the form of Barcelona youngster Mikayil Faye.

Liverpool interested in signing Barcelona’s Mika Faye
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Faye is considering his options this summer and there are a number of clubs interested in signing him.
Among those clubs is Liverpool. The Reds are named as one of a few Premier League sides who like the look of Faye.
Faye is currently part of the Barcelona B side but is highly-rated in Spain and had previously got the attention of now former Barca boss, Xavi.
“Yes, he has already played in some friendly matches. He is a capable footballer, he is aggressive, he is fast, he can get the ball out well. He could help us at some point. He has the level, without a doubt,” he said in April.
Faye has already won a senior cap for Senegal and is seen as yet another top young player currently under Barca’s control.
Liverpool would upset the apple-cart by signing Faye
Barcelona’s president and board already have it in for the English clubs at the moment after the vetoing of the Super League so if Liverpool pinched a top player from them it would go down like a lead balloon.
Clearly, Mika Faye is a top young player and the fact Xavi has his eye on him suggests he’s done enough to impress since arriving.
Of course, the step into the Premier League is a massive one and this would surely be a signing for the future from FSG.
However, it’s nice to see these players being looked at and at just 19, Faye has a long career ahead of him.
