Today’s game against Sparta Prague already feels like it’s been decided. The Reds have a 5-1 lead from the first leg, and Sparta Prague will need a miracle to overturn to the tie. Especially with this game being at Anfield.

Kaide Gordon could play vs Sparta Prague today
Kaide Gordon has made three first team appearances for Liverpool this season. But other than his single start in the Europa League against Union SG where he played 75 minutes, the rest were brief cameos coming at the end of the game.
Having come back from a serious injury and a long time out, Liverpool haven’t wanted to rush him back too soon. But in the last few weeks, Gordon has been in good form. He has made four goal contributions in his last six appearances for Liverpool’s U21 side. And has caught the eye with his sharpness and dribbling.
He was also spotted in first team training on Wednesday, which suggests he will be in the squad to face Sparta Prague tonight. Given how Liverpool already have such a significant advantage over Prague, it would not be a surprise to see Gordon involved.
While he is mostly a right-winger, he could also play on the left, with Mohamed Salah expected to start. It would be good to see Gordon linking up with the Egyptian and being given another big opportunity to show what he can do at Anfield. In the past, it has been reported that he is regarded as an ‘exceptional’ talent.
