Things at the top of the Premier League table are really heating up now. Arsenal’s victory over Liverpool at the Emirates has blown the race wide open. It now means anybody could lift the title come the end of the season.
Including a team who did fall off a little bit recently but are climbing back up the ranks now in Tottenham. Ange Postecoglou’s side looked like they would be in the conversation at the beginning of the season, even beating Liverpool at home. However, a bad run of results saw them lose their place at the top of the table.
Now it’s Liverpool leading the race, with Arsenal and Manchester City trailing, but Tottenham is on the way back as well. Especially after a last-gasp winner in the dying embers of the game against Brighton at the weekend.

Son Heung-Min on Liverpool and the title race
Speaking to NBC Sports after Tottenham’s victory, Son Heung-Min was clearly ecstatic about the result. He was asked whether Spurs were now back in the title race. And Son was quick to praise Liverpool.
“There are so many contenders. There are so many favourites. Look Man City, even Liverpool are flying now. But from our position, we want to give our best and see where that will take us,” Son said.
It’s obvious that Liverpool are the team to beat at the moment. Manchester City, of course, are doing very well as well. There’s still a few weeks to go until the ultimate showdown between them in March. But until then the objective for Liverpool to keep winning.
If the Reds continue to win games – the league title will be in their very own hands. And at this stage that is all you wanted.
