“I always think because this time every game is almost like a final now, because they’re saying the other team look like they’re clicking into gear, which means that it’s going to go down to the wire as usual, which means every game is a must win. As simple as that. And that’s the way you want it,” Alexander-Arnold said.

“You want to get pushed. You want to push yourself as far as and as hard as you can and test yourself to the limit and. I think every single game is a is a must win and even a draw feels like I lost no matter the context of it.”

Having come so close to achieving the impossible quadruple, Liverpool’s players will be desperate to do it this time around. Especially with the added incentive to deliver this for Jurgen Klopp as a parting goodbye. The way Alexander-Arnold speaks as well – you’d back him to do it.
