Jurgen Klopp likes to throw young players in at the deep-end. It’s a testament to Liverpool’s youngsters that most of the time they end-up standing up to the challenge.

Tonight, against Bournemouth, it was Conor Bradley’s turn to make his mark. He’d already proven himself in the League Cup semi-final almost two weeks ago against Fulham. But this was another kind of challenge.

Away from home against a difficult Bournemouth side and under difficult conditions. Bradley though did not disappoint. Not only did he get himself an assist, but he put in a convincing performance overall. One that even BBC’s pundit was impressed by.

“Bradley’s been really good. As far as Premier League debuts go he’s been solid defensively, he’s got forward, had a couple of chances.

“I think he’s been very impressive!”

Murray is right, this was a very impressive performance from Bradley. His performance was yet more proof of the power Klopp has at his disposal when it comes to being able to pick and chose from the academy.

There is simply so much talent coming through the ranks at Anfield at the moment.
